Find your device's full model name and check its manufacturer's charging and accessory specifications. Similar-looking models can support different features. Keep those specifications handy when reading a product listing.
Choosing a USB-C wall charger
Compare the charging standards and power requirements listed for your device with the charger specifications. A charger's advertised maximum wattage is not a promise that every device will charge at that speed. Check the cable requirements too, and confirm whether a suitable cable is included.
Choosing a wireless charging stand
Check support for each device separately, including your phone, watch and earbuds. A listing described as 3-in-1 does not establish compatibility with every brand or model. Confirm the supported models, required power adapter and case requirements before buying. Magnetic attachment alone does not establish charging compatibility.
Comparing power banks
Review battery capacity, output ports, charging standards, dimensions and included cables. Do not treat the advertised capacity as a guaranteed number of full phone charges. Actual results depend on your device and how you use it. Check whether the listed output applies to one port or changes when multiple devices are connected.
Checking USB-C hubs and docks
Match each feature you need with your computer's specifications. Do not assume that every USB-C port supports a hub's video output or laptop-charging features. Check your computer's supported display modes and charging requirements, along with the hub's operating-system requirements. Review any limits on display resolution, refresh rate and simultaneous connections.
